There’s no Zombie apocalypse. I just moved.

*Do not follow this blog! Follow me here!

If you are new here. I’m no longer here. I mean I’m still alive but blogging somewhere else.

If we’ve been friends for a long time now, here’s what happened.

I did it!

10 MB worth of ramblings all transferred, including all your wonderful comments. I may have cried a little or a lot when the migration was completed (It took 2 damn weeks!). Jetpack tells me that my followers were migrated too but if you do not get any notification from me at all even after a year (and there’s no Zombie apocalypse), it means Jetpack was wrong and you can just add me to your WP reader.

Because seriously, a year is far to long for me to stop writing. My last hiatus was just ummm 10 months.

All you have to do is go to the right side of your reader and look for this and click on edit:

edit

and enter my blog url http://www.themissusv.com and hit follow.

Easy peasy.

From now on, I will be posting at The Missus V but will be keeping this account active mainly because of the reader.

I shall see you on the other side.

I’m serious.

Visit me sometimes.

♥

  1. now, this explains why i am missing a notification about your latest post. 🙂 after doing a couple of clicks, let me see if it will all be back to normal – that of seeing you in “reader”. 🙂 🙂

  2. got it…I subscribed so i will get posts my email. I never use the Reader, I really should get in the habit. I have all the posts I love sent to my inbox and i never get through them all. Anyway, love the new site. Tell me though, what is the advantage to switching? I am still somewhat of a newbie when it comes to that kind of stuff.

    • I love the reader, it’s so convenient! The only problem I have is that the new mobile version will now only load up to 20 new posts. I think I’m missing a lot of posts so I manually visit blogs when I have the time on the laptop.

    • Here in .com you can’t advertise. For the few sponsored posts that I did, I asked permission from support, they allowed as long as all links are on the post itself. It can be restricting if you want to monetize your blog. .org also allows you to design and tweak your theme and personalize your blog. More plugins and freedom. Downside? You do everything. From maintenance, keep spammers and junk out as well as hackers. You have to back up too. Unlike .com that they do everything for you. Overwhelming! But I’m hoping to learn as much as I can asap. Ugh!

  3. Well, I should be “in the back of the pick-up.” 🙂 I’m here on WP. I followed by e-mail. And I copied and pasted your URL into the reader. And hopefully your new provider will get everybody transferred to. Bet you thought you’d get rid of some of us, eh? 🙂 I’m so proud that you did this! Good job! I’m so excited for you! (And isn’t Pete great!) Take care and can’t wait to see more on your new “spot.” ~Terri

    • Thank you Terri! I knew you’re with me on this one! That was a long ass 2 weeks! I just cried when everything got finally migrated! But guess what, there’s more headache coming. wp.com is so much better for a non techie woman like me. But I want to be able to spread my wings and try to earn a little out of this thing so I need to learn stuff! I shall be posting starting Monday, I think. All I want to do is sleeep! and look who’s saying that at 4am LOL
      Take care!

    • I shall give myself this weekend to breathe then I shall work on a post. Too many endless nights. I just realized that I gave myself a real headache by doing it myself. AND there’s so much more to learn. Google is my best friend now LOL
I just remembered my MIL gave me virgin coconut oil but can’t find it anywhere in the house! I shall get a bottle first thing tomorrow! I’m serious about this thing! LOL

  4. Okay – so THIS post was in the reader, but that doesn’t mean that posts from your new home will be in the reader, right? GAH! I’m confused. I’ll keep an eye on things. If I don’t see some vanilla in my reader next week I will investigate!

    • I was sure this will go to the reader because I posted it from my wp.com acct. Once I post from my wp.org account that’s when we will know if the follower migration worked. Lol I’m keeping my fingers crossed! 🙂

  5. I was starting to wonder, nice to see you back 🙂 Can I give you a tip about your wee drawings, if you save them as a gif rather than a jpg or jpeg you won’t get that grey artefact around them 🙂
